Agricola Resources plc is listed on the PLUS Exchange in the United Kingdom and holds a number of uranium and base metal exploration prospects in Sweden and Finland.  

Energy Ventures announced on 4 May 2007 it had acquired 46,780,273 shares in Agricola for an investment of £467,803, to hold 29.9% of the Company.  Agricola has recently announced a joint venture with Beowulf Mining plc under which it may earn an equity interest of up to 70% in the Ballek copper-gold-uranium project in Northern Sweden for exploration expenditure on the project of approximately $1.5m.
 
The proceeds by Energy Ventures from the recent placement will be used to fast-track exploration at the Ballek, Geddaur and Mannakjaure Uranium Projects in northern Sweden. Details of the exploration programs are currently being finalised, with the following programs for 2007 and 2008 planned:

• 3D Magnetic and Gravity inversion modelling of the regional data around the Geddaur and Ballek projects.
• Induced polarisation, resistivity and magneto-telluric geophysical surveys at Ballek.
• Ground radiometric surveys and geological mapping at Geddaur and Mannakjaure.
• Radon-cup surveys at Geddaur and Mannakjaure, followed by trenching to bedrock where appropriate.
